ADVICE on moving clips between different fps projects

Resolve is very tyrannical about a project's timeline frame rate. Unlike Premiere Pro once set, it's written in stone.

I'm in a situation where I have two projects for the same film, one for VFx @ 24fps, the second a documentary sequence XMLed from Premiere at 24 fps that somehow came into Resolve at 23.976fps. Unfortunately I did a lot of work in Resolve on this 2nd project, some re-cutting and a lot of color balancing and OFx filters, before discovering the discrepancy in timeline frame rates. The VFx project also has a lot of work done on it's multi-layered EXRs

Because of the frame rate difference I can't copy the EXR clips from their timelines into the other project's timelines.

All I can think of as a workaround is to make Power Grades for the EXRs, import them into the other project and apply the Power grades. Hopefully all the plentiful EXR layer work will adhere to the Power Grades.

Does any soul, sympathetic to this plight, have a better idea?

I've seen a workaround online. In Resolve in media tab delete all your imported media files. Then timeline dissapears as there is no media. Then you go into settings and change your frame rate. And then press undo delete of media files. It works. But don't forget to save your project before that. Let us know if it worked for you.
