Unable to import project from newer version

Has anyone run into this?

I'm working through "The Definitive Guide to Davinci Resolve 14".
Downloaded R14 exercise files worked fine up to Ch. 4.
When I try to import "Age of Airplanes.drp" I get "unable to import project from newer version".

[I don't know if this is relevant but this .drp is supposed to have broken media links -- the exercise is to relink media]

[I haven't found an answer by searching for support for the book so am turning to The Hive Mind.]

Setup: Macbook Air, OSX10.13.6, DVR 14.0.0.078.

Thank you anybody for your time.

You need a version of Resolve on your system that is at least the same or newer than the saved project version.

Please download the v14.3.1 from our support web site.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have the free version of DVR.
The available update is for DVR Studio (DVR 14.3.1 Studio), which requires purchase.

It seems I won't be able to work through the book using the free version.
I'm puzzled because the exercise files were made available with the book.
I had intended to buy DVR Studio if I got through the book.

Am I misunderstanding the link you pointed me to?

The free version is in that list.

Thank you, that solved the problem.

I guess some of the exercise files were created in a newer version of DVR.
