BUG - Strange playback behavior in color page Beta 8

In the color page when I press the L key to play forward ("l") sometimes it plays but more often it just steps forward one frame. If I press Shift and L Key ("L") it plays forward every time. (Also not sure if this is helpful but Caps Lock has no effect)

Is this a new feature where uppercase and lowercase can be mapped differently? Is anyone else having this problem?

Tested on 2 separate PC systems but I have not had a chance to check on my Mac yet.

Confirmed. I also have it sometimes on mac. Not sure yet what the pattern is....

Same here, most of the time it single steps. When I come back from the Edit page (where it works flawlessly) it seems that the first use in Color is normal. After stopping once, it's back to stepping instead of playing.

Same in Beta 7, after i use CMD + Spacebar (change input language MacOS 10.13.6)

In addition, let me describe some extra behaviour characteristics for the developers: -

Firstly, yes, with JKL working fine on the Edit page, going to Color page and hitting L and then K, I confirm the reported issue is observed, where L and J now only move forward one frame at a time. I note a loss of audio at this point too.

After this, when back to the Edit page, I have had an assortment on things happen: -

a) the problem persists until the JKL have all been pressed at least once or twice, then back to normal.
b) pressing the K key sometimes causes play in reverse, until the J key is pressed, then back to normal.
c) had two instances where pressing L caused playback forward at slow speed.

Same here under MacOS, also going backwards in Edit when returning from the Color page.

BM indicated (on LGG forum) that it is fixed and will be included in next release.
