How can I import And link Media Composer audio MXF Files?

PostWed Aug 08, 2018 11:30 pm

When ingesting video files with stereo audio into Media Composer, three MXF Files are generated - one video and two audio.
I am trying to import these three files into Resolve. However, the media manager tools only show the video files. I have to use Windows Explorer to find the corresponding audio files and drag them to the Media pool. Why should this be?
When the 3 files are in the media pool I cannot find a way of reconstructing/linking the 3 files so that the resulting clip has video and stereo audio to correspond to the original Media Composer clip.
Can anyone help?

In similar case, I converted the sound to WAV (with Audacity) then used the Wave Agent to make a multichannel wave from them.
Then you need to link only one audio file, this is done on the Media tab, it's not difficult.
