Strange Decklink Troubles

Howdy guys. I recently picked up an LG C8 and Im trying to run Resolve out of my decklink mini into the LG. I have 8K footage in a 1080p 23.976 timeline. My video monitoring is also set to 1080p 23.976.
When I go over the footage in the edit or color page, nothing shows up on the LG. But if I drop color bars or a gradient ramp, it shows up on the TV. Any idea of what I might be doing wrong?

Resolve 14.3
Red Weapon 8K Media
Decklink Mini 1080 version

My output color bars are showing some line artifacts in the gradient.

Any thoughts on whats causing this?

Sharpness, dynamic contrast, (anything dynamic), has been turned off or to zero.

It would be helpful to have a Resolve diagnostics log and a Mac System Report .spx file.

Hey Dwaine, here is an included diagnostic log as well as a Mac System report.

Diagnostic log attached.

Im really stumped on why the decklink is giving me issues. It was working fine on our older previous client TV.

It all looks normal.

If you are not seeing those artifacts in the GUI viewer, then it would seem to be one of the following:

Bad HDMI cable.
Bad Monitor.
Bad DeckLink Mini Monitor

If you can, connect a different monitor and see if the problem appears in that.

I tried using another monitor with the decklink, and couldn't even get a signal out to it. The LG gets the bars but it ends there. When I swapped the monitor to my HDMI port in the video card to make sure the monitor wasn't a sour apple, it worked.

Looks like Ill need to replace the decklink

Just make sure you try the DeckLink at the same format and frame rate as whatever the working port on the video card is putting out.

Some monitors are fussy about what they except, especially in regards to lower frame rates like 24/25.
