Poor App store ratings for Resolve... feature request!

For your own sake... Please will you consider altering the functionality for when someone tries to import media which is from a volume not within their 'Media Storage Locations'?
50% of Resolve's (Apple) App Store user reviews are 5* and the other 50% are 1*
The majority of the 1* people are either whinging of crashes, or just can't figure out how to import media. It's astonishing that such an amazing piece of free software should be getting poor reviews.
I don't have much sympathy for these quick-draw reviewers who can't read a manual, but to be fair it is genuinely confusing when a user tries to drag in a clip, and nothing happens. Just a quick pop-up message would do it.
