There is no Manual file in the Davinci Resolve 15 ZIP archive (for Windows) and there is no separate link to download the manual.

Can you please provide the new manual for the released version of Davinci Resolve Studio 15?

The new manual is available in the Windows version too, there's just no shortcut to it in the start menu.

It's installed here (and is easily accessible by going to Help > DaVinci Resolve Reference Manual):
Code: Select all
%ProgramFiles%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Documents\DaVinci Resolve.pdf

Thanks. Usually, BMD had a separate downloadable file at the Support pages.

In addition to the manual, I noticed that while Resolve 15 is now "shipping" there is currently no link for purchasing it on the BMD website (for Resolve Studio v. 14, the website's "buy now" link went to a list of retailers by country). There's no "buy now" link for Studio v. 15, only a "download now" button, which requires you to enter your serial number.

I assume this is because Studio v. 15 may be currently available only as a free upgrade for existing Studio users (presumably while hard-copy packages/SD cards are produced and distributed to retailers), but it does mean that anyone who wants to buy the Studio version of Resolve right now doesn't have any straightforward way to do it, unless they happen to know who their local retailers are.

The Serial number, as well as Dongle from Davinci Resolve 14 should work with Davinci Resolve 15 (if you already own a DR 14 Studio version and its Serial Number and/or Dongle.) The vendors who sold v14 will sell v15 too. BMD never sold Serial Numbers and/or Dongle for Davinci Resolve and Fusion. It always provided links to authorized Re-Sellers.

BTW: Fusion 9 Dongle with Davinci Resolve 15 should work too.

Yep, I know that; what I was pointing out was the currently on the BMD website there is no "buy now" link, so if you never owned Resolve Studio before but want to buy it now, you'd be hard-pressed to figure out how to do it.

All they need to do is add a "buy now" link like they used to have with Resolve 14, or else explain that if you want to buy Studio v. 15 today you should buy a license for v. 14 and then download v. 15 from the website.

Sure, but unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be a link to that page from this page: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/produc ... ciresolve/

And that's the page people see in the banner on the main BMD website.

2600 pages!

Damn, that's like Pillars of the Earth and World Without End combined! (Only much less fun to read.)

Alexis throws in some plot twists and surprising characters that will keep you riveted all the way to the end. I did not see the shocking conclusion coming. This is Game of Thrones-level storytelling.
