Resolve 15: Invisible Power Window (video inside)

PostMon Aug 13, 2018 8:49 pm

It's a very simple project.

One time line
One video file.

After having added some power windows for mosaic blur usage, I noticed a mosaic in a part where there were no power windows.

I tried ALT + H, but no success.

I even deleted all power windows, but the mosaic is still there....

It might be something very obvious, but I'm missing it.

Can anyone help?

You are on the timeline node graph.
Switch to the clip node graph in the node window.

Thanks for your reply.

I don't know if this is what you mean but....

For this project, I'm working entirely in timeline node graph.

But as you can see, I started the video in clip node graph in order to show I have no nodes, and no windows (Window panel is empty) there. After this, I switch to timeline node graph in order to show the problem I'm facing.

Take a look at the start of the video:

As far as I know, there's no power window at all, yet I see a localized effect like if there was one.
At 0:17 in the video, I scroll up and down in order to show no power window is active.

Also, if I delete the node (in timeline node graph), the effect disappears.

I've found out how to reproduce the problem (I believe it's a bug).

Basically you:

-Add a Power Window (you can enable a default window);
-Drag it somewhere (to avoid windows overlapping);
-Press CTRL + C to copy window's shape (I don't even know if it's possible at all, but it was my intent);
-Add another Power Window (of the same type);
-Press CTRL + V to paste the shape

You should always have a clip node graph with one clip, even if you don’t use it.
