Resolve 14/15 crashing when rendering specific project

Hey guys,

I was using Resolve 14 for a while with no issues. The very occasional crash, but otherwise it was fine!
Recently however I've noticed an increase in general crashes, as well as an increase when rendering.
The rendering crashes may be due to a more demanding output (increased my res to 1440p and frame rate to 60). The general increase in crashes I'm not sure about. I've shifted my project and footage storage to different drives to fit my backup routine, but otherwise no significant hardware changes.

These things I can deal with - the bigger issue is that one specific project won't render. It'll get part way through - sometimes to 99% - and crash to desktop. The weird thing is that this is one of my shorter videos, so I can't figure out why it's failing.

Specs:
Windows 10 Home
i7 7700
16GB DDR4 2133mhz (2x sticks)
Radeon HD 7950 3GB
C: drive with Resolve installation is an SSD
Footage, project database, cache on HDD

Crash logs:

Problem project:

My video card is probably letting me down here - however Resolve was more stable in the past, and other vids are (eventually, sometimes after one initial crash) rendering fine. I'm not certain it's a hardware thing just yet.

3 GB VRAM shouldn't let you down with HD, fps don't matter. Two things come to my mind:

There could be one faulty clip, even a single frame is enough. Or it's a thermal issue, in which case I'd try to reduce the render speed.

Cheers! Is there an automated way of identifying corrupted clips or frames?

Interesting - so I rendered it out at 5 frames/sec and it worked. It's so strange to me that my setup struggles with this, and yet footage I recorded at a higher FPS and higher resolution renders fine.

Any ideas why this may be the case?
