Hi everyone,

I know t i don't find the solution to the current issue. I've seen several topics about the same problem, I've been trying many things but without any results. The weird thing is that i've never installed resolve on my computer, but ever since i try, i got the same messages, about that "resolve installer missing" as if the program wasn't properly installed. Thing is, i tried to install many versions, new one and old ones, and it's still the same, apparently the installation runs normally then tell me "installation successful" so i try to start it by clicking on the icon on my desktop, nothing happen so i go in the control panel, try to repair the software and i got the exact same message everytime i try. So it's been days and i'm pretty pissed about it...

Thanks for your help

Do the following, then try running the installer again:

Issues like this can normally be solved with a Microsoft install/uninstall troubleshooter app that helps with this situation. The app is here:

https://bit.ly/2ViOQNj

Run the app, It will do a detecting problems step. If that doesn't find anything, and it normally doesn't, then it asks if you have a problem installing or uninstalling an app. Select Uninstalling.

It will provide a list of apps. Select DaVinci Resolve, then Next. Then select "Yes, try uninstall".

Hopefully that will solve the issue for you. It should not impact any of your existing projects and settings
