Hi, this is more of a feature request than a "problem", but if anyone has a workaround please let me know!
We are creating a documentary series which uses a significant amount of photos in every cut. I have been trying to find an efficient way to roundtrip these photos from Avid to Resolve and back to Avid. Frame Flex has been a useful option for creating "pan & zoom" animations on photos while retaining access to full resolution of the photo.

Unfortunately, though Resolve supports Frame Flex for footage, it does not properly interpret the weird aspect ratios and frame sizes of photos. Resolve seems to assume everything is 16:9 whether it is or not, and displays or renders based on this assumption.
For example, this is how Avid transcodes the media associated with photos animated with frame flex:

However when we render out of Resolve with "Render at Source Resolution" checked this is what happens:

Note that all of the "Images Sizes" are now 16:9 and not the original source resolution. Would it be possible, in the future, for Resolve to support true source resolution interpretation/rendering of DNxHR media?
Also, has anyone found a workaround for this?
Thanks!
