I was cutting and editing a short film, and added some Text+ to it in Resolve 15 (Released version) when I was met with the following error:



There was also a yellow triangle indicating issues, clicking on it gave me this:


Can anyone help me figure out what went wrong? Error 6 doesen't tell me much, and I cannot say for sure that I know what a GPU Buffer download is.

Hardware:
I have Resolve Studio (paid), running in Windows 10.
16-core Intel i-7820X CPU on an MSI X299 SLI Plus motherboard
32GB of Corsair memory, rated to 4266Mhz, but only running on 3800Mhz
Asus GTX 1080 Founders Edition

Well you are not alone. I have taht too. I think ist my old gforce gtx 750 ti that only has 2 gb ram.
I consider buying a new one.

Try to switch GPU processing off for Fusion.

Do you mean checking "always run fusion on cpu"?

Wow, not only did it help, the GPU is now working massively better too, the utilization is up to 70% now, which is ALOT more than I had before - thanks! Disablling GPU for fusion gave me MUCH more oomph!
