Choice of frames rates for rendering

Hi, I casually tried Resolve 14 without doing any projects but I remember I had a framerate dropdown menu choice on the deliver tab. This was in the custom setting when trying video clips at 50fps. It was able to offer a 50fps choice and rates choices below that.
Now that I have bought Resolve 15 Studio, I can only render at the frame rate on what the project is set at.
I have original MP4 video at 50fps and may use slow motion in the project therefore I want to compare my rendered results at both 25fps and 50fps.
If I'm missing something here, what is the workaround?

Are you looking to see the visual difference between:
50fps played at 50p (very fluid appearance)
50fps slowed to and played back at 25p (2x slow motion)
50fps dropping every other frame, played at 25p (as if filmed natively at 25p)

Yes, I'd like to see the first two options you have listed. If I choose to have some slow motion in my final video, I guess it would be your 3rd option.

Slow motion is option 2, where you interpret your 50p file as 25 in clip attributes. Nothing gets thrown/interpolated- file is just played 2x slower.
Option 3 is fps conversion. Your smooth 50p source will be definitely less smooth (25p), but what worse it won't have natural motion blur (as you shoot it at 50p with higher shutter speed), but will be more "storby".

Hi, I think we're moving off the purpose of my question. The fps render figure (50fps) is now the same as the project setting. The option to change this is absent. How do I render a 25fps version without doing the project all over again?

If your timeline frame rate is 50, you can only render at 50. You next choices are creative in the edit page or using clip attributes.
