BUG / Feature Request: Problems with loading OpenFX

I am fairly consistently having problems with my OpenFX not loading. Then when I "goto the color page to renable" DaVinci will crash. ( Here is a link to the crash logs from my latest crash https://we.tl/t-f4T0HU3Zjf ).

I am aware of the work around where you can remove FX from the folder and then slowly add then back in so that DaVinci only scans a few at a time which works but is very time-consuming.

What would be great is if there was a tab in preferences similar to the Audio Plug-ins tab for Video Plug-ins. This might have the checkboxes like the audio tab but would also have an option to rescan for new plug-ins and enable or disable plug-ins on the fly.

Also if anyone has any tips for managing OpenFX I would love to hear them!

It is looking to me more and more like the problem is the Red Giant Universe plug-ins, though not sure if it is a problem with the actual plug-ins or the sheer number of fx.

Can you compare on the Mac? I have all the RedGiant Universe plug-ins running here.

I also often have problems on my mac too. I think a big part of it is the number of plug-ins that I have. Since I am often getting sequences from clients that have BCC, Sapphire & Universe I need to have all of those loaded. And then there are plug-ins that I use just in the course of finishing a show: Neat, Re:Vision, Krokodove etc.

So like I said above not sure if there is something I am doing wrong or if DaVinci just isn't meant to handle this many effects yet.

Seems like this problem is not going to go away for me. Here are the log files from another computer.

https://anonfile.com/s6k4U5g6b5/DaVinci ... 224131_zip

15.0.1
Win 10
Xeon 2697 x2
GTX 1080 x3
128 GB Ram

Alternatively if anyone wants to share some good knowledge on how to read the log files I would love that too!
