Project blows up Resolve

After the project loads to 100% Resolve disappears. It happened with Beta 8 but stopped with the Release version until now.

This time it happened after taking a 5.5k Red clip to the Fusion page to do some transforms (zoom and position - because of the lack of ease in/ot with positions). The Fusion transform tool completely borked the scaling and I deleted it and returned to Edit where the scaling retained and I got GPU 33 errors. After restarting Resolve a few times and getting the same 33 out of GPU memory error that froze the app I couldn't load the project any more. Other projects would load but not the one I've spent the last few months on.

FORTUNATELY, by heaven sent luck and nothing else, I had backed up my database before taking the shot to the Fusion Page and I have my project back.

I've been using NLEs since 1992 and I know that all of them can eat a project, so I'm loathe to question the early release of the software but, if not for the back up I would have been royally screwed and personally I was surprised when it was released after beta 8. But I'm sure there were reasons that may even have been out of your control.

All this said, here's the logs generated by the batch file after the app blew up. I hope it's of help.

This happened a few days later with the backed up database

This time the project loaded on the edit page for 5 or 10 seconds before Resolve disappeared. All I could see happening was a cache render (non-persisting through retstarts) of a 5k X 8K tiff file. I got not to crash by switching immediately to the media page on loading. Maybe that prevented it, maybe not.

Here's the crash logs https://www.dropbox.com/s/a0swrd8kk5c98u2/DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20180819-083657.zip?dl=0
