Can't get mic input to work for ADR recording

I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB and a microphone connected to it. I confirmed the Scarlett and mic are working. The Scarlett responds/blinks when you say something into the mic and in MacOS system preferences the meters move when speaking as well. In Resolve Studio the Scarlett is listed under Audio Inputs in the Patch Input/Output window, but both inputs 1 and 2 on the Scarlett are grayed out. I can still patch them, but I'm not getting any audio into Resolve after doing that. How can I get this working. I followed the steps for ADR recording in the manual, but that didn't help.

Is a DeckLink card installed on that system and enabled for “Capture and Playback” use in
Preferences > System > Video and Audio I/O > For Capture and Playback Use?
There is one case (with an Intensity Pro 4K) where audio input from a 3rd party audio device is not possible in that configuration with version 15.

I just got it working. Had to set the Speaker Configuration to Use System Setting, then restart Resolve, and then set the Speaker Configuration back to how I wanted it and then it worked. Thank you for trying to help.
