2D Text+ in Fusion tab: motion blur where?

I'm in the release version of Resolve Studio 15 on Mac.

I'm moving text in a Text+ node along a path in the Fusion tab. Motion blur is checked in the common controls, but I can't see any blurring happen. Does MB require me to add an additional tool after Text+ or something?

I'm coming to this from After Effects, where I'm comfortable enough to know how much blur to expect from a certain movement over a certain number of frames. I've not used Fusion standalone, but then again, it doesn't seem like Fusion inside Resolve Studio.
