Slight pause after clip selection or moving in the timeline?

PostTue Aug 21, 2018 7:17 pm

Does anyone else notice that with every mouse click, clip selection, clip deselection, clip moving, etc. there seems to be a slight split second pause in Resolve, like it's gotta think for a split second to catch up.

Are you using Live Save? Disk database or PostgreSQL?

I have noticed the same issue when i tried using Live Save connected to a remote database over a slow network (over the internet).

You're probably using a disk database if you haven't specifically created a PostgreSQL database. Is the database stored on a fast disk?

Ah, yeah everything is local. Nothing coming from a network.
