Audio files destroyed when using Media Management tool

Using resolve 15

The story:

1. record audio in resolve (captures to C:\Users\eric\Videos\Capture)
2. use Media Management tool to move only used files to new location
3. files at new location are unplayable

Luckily the deleted source files from the move are in the recycle bin. That was scary.

Did you try to trim the files or did you copy them as complete files?

What audio format were the files?

I had the same experience when copying some audio files (wav, no trim) from an other project to the folder of the current project. Less scary than a move but still not good.
I am on an Mac – so it seems not PC related.

Same issue here, but only with certain files. I was able to fix them by importing them as Raw Data in Audition and saving over the original.
