Hi,
I uninstalled v14.3.1 and installed v15 release version and did not just upgrade.
I've upgraded a few of my databases and was working on a few projects and when I opened them later, the custom debayer settings most of the clips (RED footage ) had defaulted and was showing camera metadata. Or to be more specific it was showing up as Decode using 'Project'.
Initially I was completely bamboozled and thought I may have mistakenly selected all the clips and had changed it. But then realized Resolve was doing it on it's own when it happened in multiple timelines and in a second project.
Although I have backed up all my projects which I could recover back from and could go back to 14.3.1, I have done closer to a weeks worth of work on multiple feature length projects and is impeding my work.
One work around I found was, if I apply a still to one of the effected clips (not all clips are effected but many are) and then undo, this brings back the original custom debayer settings which I had set earlier. At least thank god for that. But when I exit and come back to the footage this might have changed again which feels kind of random. I have to keep selecting each clip, apply a still and undo for all effected shots and I have to keep doing it over and over again.
I did open a project with Sony Raw footage and this did not have this issue. Perhaps it is related to only RED footage?? not sure.
Not sure if BM can reproduce this but would be of much help if there is a quick fix.
Thanks
Din
