Installing a OFX Plugin

Hello! Total noob here. I am looking to install the YADIF plugin into Davinci 15 to de-interlace some footage. However, I have run into a wall on how to install plugins on my Mac. I finally got the OFX folder in my system library to appear. But when I move the plugin there, it is not showing up in Davinci even though the False Color plugin I installed is showing.

two things:
For OFX you need studio version.
Why do you need a deinterlace plugin? Resolve studio has high quality deinterlace.

Thanks for the response!

Are you sure I need the studio version to download an OFX plugin? I seemed to have been able to install the False Color Plugin.

And unfortunately, I don't have the Studio version (I'm a poor boy) to use the built in deinterlace feature.

Studio version is not required for installing additional OFX plugins.

Great to hear! So then I guess my question is why I am having such a struggle getting this YADIF plugin to work. I can't seem to find any useful step by step guides on how to make it happen...

Not all OFX plus-ins work in Resolve, not even in the Studio version. Mocha Pro OFX, for example, crashes the whole program immediately.

Both the Mocha Pro 5.6 and now Mocha Pro 2019 crashed as soon as I applied the effect on a node in both the Color workspace as well as the Fusion workspace in Resolve 15.
