Old and Unused Fusion Clips

PostFri Aug 24, 2018 8:48 am

Hello,

I'm on v15 and *loving* the Fusion integration. I use it mostly for titles and onscreen graphics in interviews, so pretty basic stuff. This question relates more to v12 and v14 as I guess it'll be less of a problem in v15, but still...

Can anyone tell me the best way to clear down old and unused Fusion compositions? In my Bins I'll have a number of redundant 'Fusion Clip x' media. These don't show in the upper disk section of the Media page, where I could check their usage and bulk delete, so what I do is check their usage in the lower window on the Media page, and for all unused clips I right-click - Open File Location and then manually delete the folder.

Is there a better way? For a 5s lower third, the DPX files add up to around 1GB so over time this is eating up a lot of disk space.

Thanks.
