Crash on render v15

Bear with me. Fist post, and not a computer expert.
I am experiencing a crash when I try and render my footage. The original footage was captured on a Sony a7 50fps Full HD MTS format and a DJI Phantom 4 30fps 4k mp4 format.
I have placed the captured footage on my SSD drive which is also the location of my cache and optimised files. The project timeline is 1080p, has three video channels, three audio channels and a total duration of 90 seconds. I am using Davinci resolve (Free version) 15.0.0.086. My AMD video cards have the latest drivers installed. I am using Windows 10 Home edition.
This is not my first project, however I have experienced similar issues in the past. I just can not get this project rendered at all. I have tried rendering at an output resolution of 720p at a speed of 1 using optimised media the same format as the optimised media with no luck. the program just shuts its self down. I have re-installed windows and only have minimal programs installed on my PC. Program is installed on my SSD Drive (C:), original media, and cache files on another SSD (120GB) and my output location is on my HDD (2TB).
I have also tried smart cache and user cache (render cache colour output) but Davinci crashes about 10-20 seconds into trying to cache it so I cant even try rendering using cache. I have tried rendering to H.264, DNxHD, DNxHR in Quicktime and mp4.

I would appreciate any help. I hope I have provided enough information, however let me know if I have missed something. Funny thing is when i first used Davinci (this time last year) I was able to render to a 4k output. It seems like the crashing has just gotten worse over time and now I cant even render a 720p project.
