Hi,

New to Resolve; I have a simple dumb question; in order to use Resolve 15 can I purchase a license for 14 ? Will it work ? Finally, what's the difference between having an dongle or just an activation key ? Any recommendation on where to buy it 'online ?

Thanks and sorry for my n00bness here ;)

All dongles work on all versions, Windows or Mac
As a bonus, if you buy a copy of Fusion Studio (same price as DR) the dongle also activates DR studio.
I bought mine from B&H on the net.
$299 for both Fusion studio and DR studio is very good value.

Just bought Fusion Studio. Has it been verified that the Fusion 9 Studio dongle will activate Resolve 15 Studio (release)?

Thanks,

M.

Yes, I'm using a Fusion 7 Studio dongle with Resolve 15 Studio (the release version).

Sounds interesting; when you ordered did you get a physical package or just an e-mail with a serial number ?

Thanks you for your answer!

Always physical, even the number comes on card.
