I also had this happen to me.
We should have a way of opening a Resolve project and forcing any and all Fusion stuff to be closed. It's way too dicey to have a big editing project completely brought down by a corrupted comp project.
What I did was go into the Auto-Save backups and had to load a project from before the comp crashed. Because yeah, I couldn't get any version of the project to open once the crash happened.
***Major Gotcha though when this happened, when I loaded my project from an Autosave I lost the connection to all of my Optimized Media, which there was a LOT. This was a major workflow speed bump.
