Best Off-Speed Workflow Question

Hey gang,
I am a DP who is just trying to rip proxies from the RAW footage we shot this weekend with the URSA Mini Pro.
I will admit upfront, Im a novice in Resolve when you get beyond standard edits and grading.
I would like to share my work flow and please feel free (Im hoping you will) where Im missing it, etc.
We filmed all our footage at 4.6K off-speed with Project FPS at 23.976 and the Off-Speed FPS at 60fps.
Bring all clips into the Media Pool, they come in as 23.976, so I have to individually change the Clip Attribute to 60fps BEFORE dropping them into a 23.976 timeline, correct?
From there I am able to adjust the speed to 50% (slower), turn on Optical Flow and kick out individual proxies clips.
Is this correct?
Is there a step Im missing?
A better way to do this?
A faster way to do this?
Thanks ahead of time!
