Best Off-Speed Workflow Question

Hey gang,

I am a DP who is just trying to rip proxies from the RAW footage we shot this weekend with the URSA Mini Pro.
I will admit upfront, Im a novice in Resolve when you get beyond standard edits and grading.

I would like to share my work flow and please feel free (Im hoping you will) where Im missing it, etc.

We filmed all our footage at 4.6K off-speed with Project FPS at 23.976 and the Off-Speed FPS at 60fps.

Bring all clips into the Media Pool, they come in as 23.976, so I have to individually change the Clip Attribute to 60fps BEFORE dropping them into a 23.976 timeline, correct?

From there I am able to adjust the speed to 50% (slower), turn on Optical Flow and kick out individual proxies clips.

Is this correct?
Is there a step Im missing?
A better way to do this?
A faster way to do this?

Thanks ahead of time!

If you had your project set that way on the camera, and shot the off-speed clips off-speed, I believe they'll play in slow motion automatically.

That doesnt seem to be the case, but I will wait til I can do the same test on the iMac Pro instead of my laptop this evening.

No. They've already been properly "slowed down" in camera. You can just work with the media.

Slo-mo (or timelapse) without any hazzle is the whole reason for the 'off-speed' feature. If you want 60 fps, you wouldn't shoot off-speed.

The timeline should always be set to the project frame rate (if you didn't make a mistake when shooting).
