Hi,

This is only happening with one cut in my timeline.

THERE IS NO CROSS FADE applied to this cut.

When the two clips are up against each other, I hear the audio from the first clip continuing over the audio of the second clip for about a second.

If I pull the two clips apart, the audio played when playing the second clip is solely the audio of the second clip.

If I put them back together, the problem comes back.

Also, if the clips are not side by side in the timeline, and I play through the first clip, the audio starts to fade to nothing at the end of the first clip. I see no visual cue of anything being applied to the end of the clip at all.

Has this happened to anyone else? I would greatly appreciate some help - as usual, these things catch one up against a deadline...

Using Resolve Studio 15.0.0.086 on a Macbook Pro, OSX 10.13.4

I have had something like that happen to me a week or so ago.

I added an audio crossfade between 2 clips and then at a later time I dragged the second clip away from the first accidentally. Visually, the crossfade disappeared and didn't reappear when I brought the clips back together, but I could still hear the crossfade.

I think I fixed it by trimming the clips with the blade tool and then stretching the clips back to where they were.

I just tried to duplicate it now, and of course it worked fine for me.

Another thing you could try is adding another audio transition to the edit point and then delete the transition.

Thanks Mike - I ended up blowing away the clip in the timeline and dragging it back in.
But your response here is still super reassuring that I wasn't going bonkers with this, and that there is some sort of issue...

Hopefully it will get fixed ...
