I'm experiencing something weird where while I'm working I'll be cutting and piecing together pieces of dialogue, and I'll be hearing piece of dialogue that are cut out. The timeline is playing the audio as if the clip is extended out when it isn't. It's trimmed in the timeline.
I'm not sure how to explain it without recording exactly what it's doing.
Imagine having a take of a line of dialogue. And in the middle of a line I'm editing to a different camera angle with it's own audio tracks. But I'm still hearing the audio from the first clip AS WELL even that the video and the audio of the clip is trimmed.
And no, there aren't any clips I'm not seeing that are playing back. There are only these two clips in the timeline, and I'm hearing overlapping audio.
I'm also experiencing phantom audio fades. The ends of clips are fading out even though there aren't any fades on them.
If I restart Resolve the problem will go away, but at some point the problem comes back again.
