Poor 50fps performance since DR 15

Hi all,

I am having a very frustrating time since upgrading to DR15 Studio, all my projects play extremely slow, 50fps 1080p footage is lucky to get 30fps playback and sometimes even locks up.
I have also increased RAM to 128G and added second gtx1080Ti.
Yes I am using H264, but one project I optimized to DNxHR HQ half resolution and set playback to use optimized media and it made no difference.
Also if I try to add any simple fusion fx like a drop shadow on a logo everything virtually comes to a grinding holt.

As you can see from inmages , not a very complex timeline and processor, Ram and GPU usage very low

It all seems very strange, any help would be appreciated.

Try with no Fusion effects first as they need rendering.
Also, please test your disk speed to see if you can get 50fps.

Thanks for the reply Peter,

the project shown actually has no Fusion effects, that was another one and on that the effect had rendered but it would still stop on the effect on playback.

Hi Peter,

Love to PM you .drp, but apparently there is no way to PM, so here is link to dropbox, I have also forwarded files to Warwick

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/t38sv4fu6dgh ... tUJla?dl=0

Included is .drp of very simple project with same issue, as you can see from screenshot fusion effect is rendered, but still getting less than 40fps.
Also included clip data (all are the same and settings which you'd probable get off .drp
