Resolve 14.3 won't open projects correctly

I have 14.3 running on a HPZ440 workstation and it has been working fine since the day it was first released. I needed to clean up my cache clip and deleted some older files. I have the data based backed up. When I try and run Resolve now it sees the data bases and associated projects. When I either click on a project or a data base Resolve opens but doesn't see the media files. The program basically locks up and I'm unable to switch to the media tab. I tried to create a new data base with the same result. Reinstalled the program with reboot and no change. Any ideas?

It could be you have a drive letter change after your cleanup.

Can you check that the preference Media storage drive that is at the top of the list is in fact where your media is located and that the drive is connected.
If so, then check you can see the media in the Media Storage section of the Media page, then check the media pool.
If the Media pool shows the clips as offline, you will need to relink the clips to the current location.

I don't think the drive letter has changed. The behavior I'm seeing is as follows:
Open Resolve and it appears to load normally.
I can see two data bases, the one that is currently highlighted is last one I used. The projects in that data base are listed correctly. Untitled project has a check mark next to it.
I can scroll over the other projects, but when I select one it always opens untitled project.
The project opens but there is no functionality in the workspace. I cannot change workspaces or open project manager or settings. I have to use task manager to close the application.
The other thing I've found is if I click anywhere in the project manger window when the program loads it always jumps to untitled project.
I tired to to load Davinci Resolve Project Manager app and it locks up and required task manger to close. Thanks for your help.

What is your OS, specifically, and system config?

can you right click on a project you wish to recover and export, then try importing.

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
Xeon E5-1620 V3
32 GB ECC Ram
Crucial SSD system drive
HGST 3 TB media drive
NVIDIA Quadro K620 assigned GUI only
MSI GT1070 8GB GPU

System has been working flawlessly for about a year.
The right click didn't work
Resolve seems to be taking control of the whole desktop; when the project manger GUI is open I cannot open/close any other programs or file manager.
I can click outside of the Resolve GUI and it loads untitled project.

Ah, W7 might be the issue.
Can you roll back to 14.3.1
