Resolve 15 - Missing Functionality in Fusion

PostMon Sep 10, 2018 5:40 pm

Hi all,

I can't figure out if this functionality is there:

1. When in Fusion Tab I don't hear the audio Track. Is this possible?
2. When I add markers to the fusion clip in Edit Mode - I can't see them in Fusion Tab. Is this possible?
3. Lets say I have in Video 1 Track my cutted video. And I add a fusion layer on Video 2 Track. Is it possible to see the contend of Video 1 Track when I`m in Fusion Tab of Track 2?

If this is all not possible - there usefull wishlist....

Greets,
Nico

Number 3 is possible with a compound clip.

Or with Number 3, select the two (or more) clips and make a fusion clip, which is a kind of compound clip it seems.

In this case each clip will be a separate media-in node connected to a merge node in the fusion page. Therefore in fusion you can manipulate each clip separately.

If a compound clip is created the two clips are merged to a single media-in node in the fusion page.

Thank you guys!

But it would be extremly useful to see the layer belows in fusion tab.
Sometimes you want to create only some grafics element on top. Sure you make a compound or fusion clip before. You can also load the underlying clip with media in as reference for framing, timing etc...
And sometimes the video clips below changes over the time of the project etc ...

I think all of my three points are usefull. Especialy for some (motion)grafic intensive work.

Hope one day blackmagic could add these features...
