Move Selected Clip to Playhead - Keyboard Shortcut

Hi everyone,

Is there a keyboard shortcut to move a selected clip to the playhead?

I am editing a feature film and want to use the location of my playhead to move clips around on the timeline. For example: I have a clip that I want to move a few seconds earlier on the timeline and overwrite part of the tail on the adjacent clip, but I can't figure out how to move the clip to the playhead.

I have read Chapters 21-27 of the manual and didn't find anything.

Options that won't work for me:

1. Using my mouse.
2. Using the +/- with frames/second duration because I don't know exactly how far I want to move the clip. I only know that I want to move the clip to the playhead.
3. Copy-and-paste the clip at the playhead. Using this option would then require an extra step because I would then have to go and delete the clip that I copied.
4. Extend edit because I'm not extending the clip, only moving it.

you can use cut and paste instead
