Been studying hard but video still flat - HELP WITH GRADING
Posted: Wed Sep 12, 2018 6:24 pmnew to color grading on video but I do quite a bit as a photographer. I know very different approaches but I guess I am saying I get the process.
That said. I am shooting with my sony a7s2 in log 2 and even after coloring my videos look washed out and not vibrant. I have studied LUTS and watched tons of videos but either my footage looks washed out or too overdone.
Looking for tips on a workflow that works for you.
I have included a random clip i shot (ungraded) to see if maybe my source footage is the problem.
