Question about using 60p for slow motion
Posted: Mon Sep 17, 2018 12:29 amI have HD 60p sports footage that I'm editing on a 30p timeline for the purpose of slowing down some of the shots.
Question: Does Resolve care what type of method I use to slow it down? For example if I change the clip attributes to 29.97 then drop it on the timeline I get buttery smooth slow motion. If I was to instead leave the clip attribute alone and create a speed ramp to 50% will is be the same quality? In other words does Resolve use the extra frames in all the slow motion methods?
