I have been trying to generate Lut with Da vinci 14.
But something seems to go really wrong.
All I did was adjusting some color wheel, then go to Project settings and then go to Lookup tables. Scroll down and generate LUT from current grade. Now use ‘Save LUT as’ option, enter its name and hit Generate button.
Then when I apply the lut to a clip the image go totally nut.
I saw a youtube video saying I should change my cpu processor to OpenCL in the hardware preference. But this doesn't help.

I remember I had successfully generate Lut file before with the same version of Davinci and same Mac computer. But now I just can't make it work.

Hello, shangshangw,
the option you are using is intended to be used with a special chart. It will not deliver expected results when used with any one image other than the special dpx chart.
Please use the LUT generation available in the context menu of the Color page thumbnail.

Yes I have tried to generate lut by right clicking on the thumbnail, but nothing get created in the destination folder. LIterally nothing happens.
what could be the problem?

Try running the latest release of DaVinci Resolve 14 — 14.3.1, and try again.
