15.1 Track color no longer affecting clip color?

It seems that since 15.1 the track colors are no longer affecting the clip color?
System specs:
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel i912900K 3200Mhz 16 core
RAM: 128GB DDR4-3000
GPU: NVIDIA A6000

So apparently now you have to zoom in and out the timeline for the clip color change to take affect from the track.

This was not the case prior to 15.1

There is a refresh bug there: after i did a cut with a clip from the media pool, i changed the color of the clip to chocolate abd it did not do it until i moved the timeline gui (scroll) and then it refreshed.
