Resolve/Fairlight to multiple sound output

Working for the stage, I edit with 4 to 8 discrete sound output (not 5.1 or 7.1) and I need to test it through real physical output.
I have a motu UltraLite Mk3 but I can only assign 2 output in Resolve. It's a limitation? I use, for the moment, the free version, its a free version limitation?
I can affect discrete output through my ultraStudio mini monitor but I can only hear 1 & 2 channel with it.
One solution could be to buy 2 SDI to audio converter, using the UltraStudio SDI output (I use the HDMI output for the video), but its the price of a quite good sound card.
If someone can give me a solution, I would avoid going to reaper or logic to make my multichannel mix.

In Preferences > Video and Audio I/O you can set Speaker configuration to Manual and set the output format. Not sure you can use other formats than for example 7.1 though.

Yes, I can use 7.1 but with BM output device like ultraStudio I can assign a discreet physical output for each software output, with Motu I can only use one pair of output.

I found a working solution.
The problem is with Motu, only the Asio driver propose multiple output, not the system driver. As DVR not using Asio driver, there is only one stereo output available.
I found a solution for MacOs and Windows:
– with MacOs you need soundflower and you choose SF64 for audio output in the DVR preference, choosing 7.1 and assigning channels.
I made a patch with Max/Msp with soundFlower on input and Motu on output and I route with adc/dac each channel to each channel.
– with windows you need loop.be, you activate 7.1 in loop.be panel and you choose it in DVR preference routing each channel from DVR to each loop.be channel.
Max doesn't work for that in window because you need a DirectSound input and a Asio output and in Max you choose the driver for both input and output. The solution is with TouchDesigner where you can route a audioDevice in with directSound to an audioDevice out with Asio and it work.
I doesn't test extensively the stability.
I can continue to explore Firelight.

Are you still using this solution? I see on more recent posts that we're still waiting on a WDM fix from BMD and hopefully ASIO support. I'm using a MOTU Ultralite mk3 and I only see two outputs at a time in the assignment lists in Preferences in DVR for 5.1. This LoopBeAudio looks interesting. Does it work? Is it safe?
