Reset Selected Node - what key is that?

PostSun Sep 23, 2018 7:49 pm

I'm trying to figure out what key that is for the "reset selected node" keyboard shortcut.

It's an arrow pointing up with a line above it. I have never seen this symbol for a mac and can't find it online.

I have attached a screenshot.

PS: Is it a secret key? Can only templars and free masons use this shortcut because only they have the "go to heaven immediately" key on their keyboard?

Thank you.

I'm on a mac, so there's no "home" button.

The replacement for mac would be "fn" + left arrow, so the keyboard shortcut of "reset node grade" would be SHIFT + fn + left arrow

Which is a bit awkward, so it's probably easier to use the right click menu.

I've used Mac OS for more than 32 years, and I promise you there has always been a Home key on the keyboard. About 2" to the right of the Enter key, assuming you're using an extended keyboard.

If you're on a laptop, then I think it's FN + →, and end is FN + ←. I am not a fan of trying to use Resolve on a laptop with a small keyboard.

One thing you can use as a workaround: using the Keyboard shortcuts, reprogram Shift+Home (traditional reset) with something you can more easily get to, like control+R (^R).

The other workaround would be to use Resolve with a control surface, and several of those do have Reset Node functions as physical buttons.
