Hi Everyone!
So i am trying to copy a channel's FX (pan, dynamics, EQ, inserts, effects, input) from one channel to another (NOT from one clips to the other. How can we do that? Or rather, duplicate an audio track retaining its audio channel's settings?
thanks
gabi

Hello Gabi,
Try :
On header track : right click and select copy attribute :
1_copy.jpg
Next : select destination track => right click and select paste attribute
You have a popup for select : which attribute?
2_paste.jpg
Done:
3_done.jpg

Edit wrong link...

Thanks a lot Jean Claude!
So, I'm either not right-clicking in the right position or I am missing something very obvious. my menu doesn't have Copy Attributes:

thanks!
Gab

Daz -
No, Jean Claude has it right on the second screenshot showing 'Track Attributes' pasting. The issue is that I am not getting the same right-click menu as he does when copying.
thanks,
Gabi

Copying and pasting track attributes was introduced in DaVinci Resolve 15.
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=79204 - So I just wanna confirm again you're on the latest version of DaVinci Resolve?
(hint: a forum signature describing your hardware and DaVinci Resolve version always helps w.r.t context

)

That's great I have been trying to do this too.

Blackmagic could you add this feature to the mixer too where right clicking on a channel will do the same , last time I looked it wasn't there.

Ok, I installed the latest version as of today (v 15.1.0.025) and indeed 'Copy Attributes' is present in the menu.
They must have placed the menu in the past 3 weeks or so because I didn't have it in the version (15.0.1.003) I've been using.
Thanks a lot for help!
Gabi.

Anyone bothered by the fact, that you cannot copy track attributes from one timeline's audio track to another timeline's audio track?
Seriously, why in the world would they only make it possible to paste audio track attributes within the same timeline?

As a temporary solution, consider using a Global Track preset in the Presets Library to copy Track attributes between Timeline Audio Tracks.

If you want to copy any settings done on the master. How would you do it? I dont have the master visable in the tracks? It just in the mixer.

Configure a Global Bus Preset in the Presets Library.

You can display Busses on the Timeline via the Tracks Index panel and clicking the eye icon in the visibility column.
