PostgreSQL 9.5 vs. 9.6

we want to install DaVinci Resolve from scratch for about 10 MACs - so, i'm new to DaVince and this forum as well
Of course we will use a PostgreSQL database on a dedicated database server. All documentation I found come up with instructions about PostgreSQL 9.5. I was asked by our datbase admin if there are any concern about PostgreSQL 9.6
What do you think?
