Here's how to convert Kodak's 2383 LUT to a Resolve P-Grade

PostWed Sep 26, 2018 9:48 pm

Fellow Aussie Juan Melara presents a fascinating method for converting Kodak's popular 2383 LUT to a PowerGrade, thus allowing the user multiple adjustment parameters. Juan's PowerGrade is available as a download from his Store so you can test in out on various cameras. The PG is available on a Free or Donation basis - your choice.

Here is Juan Melara explaining how his conversion works:

I think Juan Melara is a genius and does some very, very interesting things with Resolve that "get under the hood" of color science in a way that's accessible and also brilliant.
