Can I Create a "Keyframe Template" to use on multiple clips?

PostThu Sep 27, 2018 4:17 pm

Can I copy the key frames (particularly for zoom and pan) from one clip to multiple clips? Is it possible to save the zoom / pan / position keyframes as a "template" to be used in multiple projects?

I often do the "Ken Burns Slideshows" with jpg files and I am trying to make my life easier.

A typical project might have a video clip as an introduction, then 25 or so jpg files.

My workflow is pretty verbose right now:

1) Select the clip

2) Move play head to the selected clip

3) Press the ; key to move to the first frame

4) Set keyframes for position / zoom

5) Press the ' key to go to the end of the clip

6) Set key frames for position / zoom for the end of the clip

7) Repeat this process 25 times for all the jpgs.

What I would prefer is a way to have maybe four or five "templates" where I can apply them quickly to different jpgs.

Maybe one template would be something like: Zoom from 100% to 120% and change X position from 0 to 300. Another template might be the same thing, but change X position from 0 to -400.

I understand there is dynamic zoom but it is a bit too limited for my needs.

Thanks in advance.
