10.14 nVidia drivers ?

Its been days since 10.14 was officially release and still no nVidia GPU drivers. anyone have them ? link ?

thankfully no work for main machine - mac tower 2012 + Titan X, so Up upgraded it to 10.14 which required pulling the boot SSD, putting it on my MBP, updating there, putting it back into the tower and it booted fine. The install was failing on the firmware update. No error msg, no KP, nothing except the OS booted eventually back into installer saying firmware update needed to run.

I have not seen a release yet.

Is a good resource to watch, they have kept up to date so far through 10.13.

If you have a MacPro tower using NVIDIA hardware, why would you upgrade to Mojave before NVIDIA released proper web drivers? What if they don't? Took quite some time for the High Sierra driver, if I recall correctly.

Hi Dwaine

I upgraded because it was quite here and I had the time to do it. nVidia usually has drivers within 24hrs of OS releases, at least .1 releases anyway. they also put out a CUDA update to 410 last week which seemed hint enough they had things ready. So I figured at worst I get 10.14 running and then nV driver the next day. installing 10.14 was a major hassle so I'm glad I could do it w/o worrying about projects in progress on any deadlines.

if you are operating with info there won't be any drivers for 10.14, then nVidia needs to step up and be clear about that right now.... otherwise I'm not sure what to do. probably go thru the pain of installing a dual boot 10.13.6 as a short term solution. longer term maybe install Centos onto the mac tower but apple really makes it very hard to install linux onto towers :(

NVIDIA generally seems pretty opaque about their web driver plans.

Again, my recollection was that it was weeks before the first High Sierra web driver was available.

It was 2 days actually from the release of MacOS 10.13.0 (9/25/17) to the release of Nvidia web drivers (9/27/17). I think it will take longer this time because of the significant graphics changes in Mojave. Couple weeks probably.

Never upgrade the OS until drivers for all your hardware is released and tested. Even better, install the new OS on an alternate drive to test fully before committing to it 100%.

given that nVidia can certainly have either public or dev builds of OS X in beta, there isn't a good reason not to have drivers in working condition on release day or right after. honestly I'd pay for the drivers since I realize they aren't an officially supported product and it does cost nV money to keep the drivers current. its a sad commentary about apple pushing pro users off their platform. I don't know what all of their problems are with nVidia, but they need to fix them and move forwards.
