Fixing wrong frame rate

PostMon Oct 01, 2018 9:41 am

Hello,

I made mistake by setting wrong frame rate on my project so i tried to create a new project with a proper frame rate and to import old timeline via EDL file. However, after adding video clips to media pool, and importing EDL file my timeline gets populated with the first clip found in media pool that i originally never used. When i look EDL file as a text file there are many different clip names that are used in old project and they are correct. Does anybody know what's the problem? I'm using Resolve 14. Thx.

Regards,

Pero

Instead of conforming an EDL try to copy and paste all of your clips and timelines from the project with the wrong frame rate to a new project with correct frame rate.

I'm not 100% certain that this will work well for the timelines, but it's worth a try.

If you have to fallback to the EDL method, try using an XML or AAF instead.

I tried to copy timeline but you can't change frame rate like that - project is set to 60 frames and after pasting timeline it's changed to 25. Same with XML and AAF. According to some forum post only EDL works regarding frame rate but i have problem mentioned above :-(
