Upgrading from Resolve 14

Hi I talked to the help center and he said that if I upgrade from 14.1 to 14.3 that I wouldn't need to backup my database. But when I installed the upgrade, it's asking me to upgrade my database and the project files are gone. Can anyone help me?

What OS are you running? What's the current version of PostgreSQL on your machine? Do you remember your databases' names?
