Hello,
I hate to bother anyone for help, seeing as Resolve is a free product and doesn't owe its users anything, but I'm having issues with the program crashing and I'd hate to turn elsewhere to another software when Resolve has everything that I'm looking for. I'm running Resolve 15.1.1.005 on a laptop with 64-bit Windows 10, version: 1803, build: 17134.285. The laptop has a GTX 970m graphics card, an i7 4710HQ (2.5 GHz) processor, and 16 GB DDR3 ram. Resolve is stored on an SSD. The crash seems to happen randomly, as in it doesn't seem to happen after any specific actions. The amount of time that the program remains open can vary but it typically hasn't functioned for more than 10 minutes before the issue persists. In a couple of situations, the crash has actually blue screened my computer as well. I'm not sure if it could be due to hardware limitations (I'm relatively new to video production so I haven't learned much about which specs are and aren't efficient enough, however I would assume that this is sufficient enough to get by. Could be wrong though.), a wrong setting in my preferences (which I don't believe I've tinkered with too much at all), or some other conflicting factor. For what it's worth, my computer has done ok with Sony Vegas 14, which is the only relatively similar program I've worked with on this laptop. Anyway, I will leave a link to a diagnostic log below, and I will finish off my novel by saying that regardless of if my issue is fixable, the work that has been put into this program that is so accessible to the public is a blessing to content creators, and for that I must say thanks!
