DaVinci Resolve Just Undid Hours of Editing

PostFri Oct 05, 2018 6:14 pm

I cannot figure out why certain things work the way they do. There wasn't too much of a learning curve with DaVinci Resolve, as I've used software similar to it in the past. However, DaVinci Resolve has some of the most annoying quirks. It took forever to be able to get the program to render a video that carried over both video and audio, and even then VLC Media Player is the only thing that'll play it properly.

Now, the program has just destroyed hours and hours of editing I put into it. I was working on a massive file that involved lots of editing and piecing of video and audio clips, so that it's all just right. For some bizarre, unknown reason, the program decided to revert or change all the audio, so everything is out of sync. It's playing sounds on playback, that I had removed or changed previously, on the audio timeline (by shortening, lowering volume, etc.)

I tried to find a restore point on my computer where I could go back to before this change occurred, but the restore points are at the point of installing DaVinci Resolve. Is there NO way to roll back these changes? I had everything PERFECT... and now it's all been destroyed. I really do not feel like redoing the ENTIRE thing.
