LOG grading & affecting colors

PostSat Oct 13, 2018 11:24 am

Hi There,

I've been doing this tutorial bij Juan Melano about the Teal & Orange look. I'm using his footage and LUT and follow his steps correctly. But when he changes color of the midtowns with the LOG color wheels, there is a huge effect on the visible colors. The image turns completely teal from just a small adjustment. When I try to do the same, I don't get the same result. There is just a very small change in color. Does anyone know why? How can I use the LOG wheels with better results?

Thanks!
