Trying to Make Sense of Audio Only Export

When trying to export the 4 stereo audio tracks of a 2-minute trailer in wave format, I end up with 8 separate tracks even though the "Render one track per channel box" is unchecked.

Moreover, while rendering the playhead struggles, stuttering and often jumping back, and the 8 resulting tracks come completely empty (no audio).

Now in "Single clip" render mode, checking the "Render one track per channel box" does not result in two mono tracks as one might expect. No matter what, checked or unchecked, I always end up with a stereo track.

Now if I do this, I end up again with 8 mono tracks:

So the question is how can I get four separate stereo wave tracks of my timeline? And how do I export one single track, let's say Tracker Number 3, without having to move it to position one, which is what I will end up doing in order to get my four stereo tracks?

Using your Project's Audio Track configuration, the "Individual Clips" method is functional on my systems for both the "Audio Only" preset, as well as via a Custom preset as follows:

The Render Queue will indicate the amount of Clips in progress.

Result: Four stereo broadcast wave files in the target directory.

"A1-0001_TrailerDeliverables0.wav"
"A2-0001_TrailerDeliverables0.wav"
"A3-0001_TrailerDeliverables0.wav"
"A4-0001_TrailerDeliverables0.wav"

In Media Info, you can confirm the channel configuration of each deliverable.

Thanks Reynaud, I end up now with stereo tracks instead of separated monos like before. But for an unknown reason, all my tracks are delivered empty. Their waveform is completely flat, there is no audio in them. I uninstalled DVR and installed again the lastest free version, the problem persists.

Are the Audio Clips Compound Clips?

Decompose the Audio Clips prior to configuring your deliverable settings, or use the "Single Clip" option with the "Audio Only" preset.

Yes, I compounded them in order to avoid the problem I was facing, namely that it is impossible to export my four audio tracks in stereo. When I decompose and use the "Single Clip" option with the "Audio Only" preset, I end up with eight mono tracks, even though "Render one track per channel" remains unchecked. This seems to be a bug, at least in my system.

If I choose "Individual Clips" like you did...

This is what I end up with:

Not seeing that behaviour here.

I will try to completely uninstall DVR and install again, see if I get the same result. Apart from that, there is nothing I can think of. Thanks for your help.
