Did I just lose all my Davinci Projects?

I downloaded a virus so I hastily copied my entire drive to an external then reformatted and reinstalled OSX then Davinci.
Now I realize I didn't go anything in particular to backup the DaVinci projects. Is there a particular folder that Davinci defaults to? Is there a way to search for Davinci project files across external hard drives?
I'm crossing my fingers here because I have a feature doc that is about to be sold and I need it or I'm at a HUGE loss.

Have you done a Time Machine backup? Search inside that.

i think there should be a folder created by default called ''resolve disk database''
i'm using a different one, set to my raid system.
on my windows, the default local database is set to c:/programdata/blackmagic design/davinci resolve/support/resolve disk database
not sure how it is on mac.

it takes 60 seconds to make a DRP, it's 11.30am on the westcoast and i've made three so far today
low budget safety answer is to upload to wetransfer or similar free service every evening, then you have the last week or so backed up in the cloud
costs nothing but maybe 60 seconds every few hours and another 60 seconds at the end of the day to keep your projects safe

The location of the default Resolve Disk database on Mac is:
/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/Davinci Resolve/Resolve Disk Database/Resolve Projects
If you can find the Resolve Projects folder on your backup, copy it into the same location of your new Resolve install.
